Crazy Maze Crochet Lap Blanket
This is such a fun design and is ideal for children and adults as it is a working maze with one correct route from the start to the end.
It’s a great lap blanket to make for the elderly as it can be quite therapeutic to trace the route with their fingers.
I have included both a written pattern and a chart pattern.
There are 4 PDF files in total, one for the written pattern, one for an envelope border instructions, one with the full chart and one with a six part charts,
Basic instructions are included on how to do Overaly Mosaic Crochet.
All my patterns have been fully tested by me and my lovely crochet pattern testers.
US crochet terms are used in this pattern.
For the Path route I used Paintbox Simply DK in Champagne White (approximately 600 yards).
For the background I used Stylecraft Special DK In Teal approximately (800 yards).
Please note that some of my testers used more yarn than I did.
A 4mm (G) crochet hook
The finished size of mine is approximately 36 inches x 38 inches. (84cm x 84cm)
This pattern is 145 stitches x 145 rows.
You can use any yarn you like for this project, but it may change the size of the finished project.
