This is a multi-color granny squares blanket with 144 different granny squares (9x16). I used a total of 17 different color yarns, using just 5 in each granny square, where each row was a different one. I was changing the order and combination in each of them.

I took inspiration from a couple of granny square designers and the TV show “The big-bang theory” (the granny square blanket on the back of Sheldon’s couch) as a guide for this pattern.
