April The Bunny Rabbit Knitting Pattern
“Candy Floss”

What You Will Receive
This is a downloadable PDF knitting pattern designed by myself with instructions to make the rabbit and blanket in the images shown. The knitting pattern is 8 A4 pages long, this includes a front page which just has the pattern name and photos on it, it also includes lots of step by step colour images and instructions are in size 11 Ariel font.

The Pattern
April loves her blanket and hugs it all day and night long. And why wouldn’t she? Her blanket is a gorgeous 16 square patchwork fleece lined blanket. She’s all wrapped up in pink and cream colours that reminds me of Candy Floss.
April is knitted in garter stitch and has a big chubby belly that any baby, child or adult won’t be able to resist to give a bug squishy cuddle.

Rabbit Measurements
From the top of the head to the bottom April stands at approximately 30cm/12”.

Blanket Measurements
When finished the Rabbits patchwork blanket will measure approximately 25cm x 25cm (10” x10”). Each square will measure approximately 5cmx 5cm (2” x 2”). This is a rough guide and size will vary as some squares require extra stitches to be cast on to achieve the desired pattern.

Materials

• One Pair of 3.25mm Knitting Needles.
• One Pair of 4mm Knitting Needles.
• 150g Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK Cream (812) Yarn.
• One 18mm Animal Nose.
• Two 9mm Solid Black Eyes.
• Pins.
• Yarn Sewing Needle.
• Scissors. The following yarns are for the blanket and are just a suggestion, any DK odds and ends you have will work great too.
• 35g Hayfield Bonus DK White (961) Yarn.
• 10g Hayfield Bonus DK Pink (992) Yarn.
• 10g Hayfield Bonus DK Iced Pink (958) Yarn.
• 10g Hayfield Bonus DK Cream (812) Yarn.
• At least 25cm (10”) Square Cream Fleece Material.

Therefore, the yarns given in all my pattern are just a suggestion and what was used in the patterns pictured. If you find any of the colours have been discontinued or hard to come by any DK yarn from any brand of a similar colour will work too.
