With a pretty contrast color lace edging, this slightly modified half-circle creates a hands-free shoulder shawl. A small pin or brooch would be a great closure.

This shawl was almost destined for the frog pile, but the more I wore it I realized the unusual shape actually helped keep it on the shoulders without slipping. The neck can even be rolled for a cute “shawl collar” look.

Shawl is worked bottom up, beginning with the lace edge, then picking up stitches and decreasing to the top edge

Main color: 2 skeins #14 Melon Orange
