Here is a hat for the Minecraft lovers in your life! A Very Warm knit hat to look like the Creeper, the bad guy that blows up if you don’t get him first.

This pattern is written for a large kid or small to medium adult. It can be made larger or smaller by adding 6 stitches to accommodate two blocks of color. Just pick a “center place” to begin the face graph. Additionally, using larger needles will give a larger hat. Try 11’s.

I made several of these using one skein of each green, holding the center and tail at the same time. Later I used the centers from two skeins and was able to make more hats due to the greater yardage.

I used Red Heart Supersaver Spring Green and Caron Simply Soft Kelly Green. I am sure there are lots of different worsted and bulky weight yarns that would be wonderful for this hat.
