The unique top down construction using adjustable looms allows this fingerless mitt to be made in one piece with a built in gusset and no seaming.

This 10 page pattern includes detailed descriptions of the following techniques along with 22 photos and/or diagrams:

  • Top down construction
  • Built in thumb gussets

  • Instructions for calculating various sizes

The pattern focuses on utilizing the KB 10” Loom with four 2 peg sliders, but additional information is given for the CinDWood Slim Universal Loom 66 peg 1/2” gauge with two 2 peg sliders. Criteria for additional loom possibilities is included.

Approximately 140 yds. of worsted weight yarn is used for the sample done on the KB 3/8” gauge loom.

About 87 yds. of #5 bulky yarn is suggested for the CW 1/2” gauge loom.
