The almond shaped rib pattern of these socks shows up nice and clearly due to the enhanced stitch definition of the twisted stitches. With the elasticity of the ribbing, the socks will have an excellent and comfortable fit. There are three sizes and three options for the leg length.

The pattern can be done in fingering or light fingering yarn, with slightly different tension and sizing.
In light fingering weight tension, the sock circumference at foot will be: 14, 16 and 18.5 cm / 5 1/2, 6 3/8 and 7 1/4”. In fingering weight tension, the sock circumference at foot will be: 15, 17.5 and 20 cm / 5 7/8, 6 7/8 and 7 7/8.

Choose size depending on circumference of your foot, and how much negative ease you like. For a good fit, the socks should be 2.5-6 cm / 1-2 1/2” smaller in circumference than your foot. For softer yarns choose smaller size/more negative ease, as the ribbing will feel looser in a softer yarn.

The eBook includes the DK version of this design, the Almond Socks.

With lots of thanks to my wonderful test knitters!
