The Crescent Moon Socks are a top-down sock pattern featuring simple stranded colorwork with some texture on the foot.

Yarn Needed
You’ll need about 200 yards of Fingering Weight yarn for your MC and 20-30 yards of a contrasting color for the moons.

The sample from the photos is made using Malabrigo Sock in Cirrus Grey and scrap Madeline Tosh yarn.

Sizes Included in Pattern

The pattern is written for women’s shoe sizes S (M, L,
measurements are as follows:

Small -
US shoe size: 4-6.5
Circumference: 7”, 17.5cm

Medium -
US shoe size: 7-9.5
Circumference: 8”, 20.5cm

Large -
US shoe size: 10-12.5
Circumference: 9”, 23cm

Needles Required
US size 1.5 (2.5mm) knitting needles. You can use DPN’s, 9” circulars, or 32” for magic loop. If you are planning to go with the 9” circulars, you will want DPN’s or to use magic loop for the toe decrease.
