The Crewneck socks provide a fun textured, “cabled” pattern without the need for a cable needle, and the twisted ribbing gives great stitch definition while still allowing for a great fitting sock!

Skill level:
Advanced beginner

Needles:
Size US 0 (2.0mm)
Circular needles (at least 32” cord) for Magic Loop Method, Double Pointed Needles or 9” circular.

Gauge:
30 sts and 42 rounds per 4” in stockinette after blocking
36.5 sts and 35 rounds per 4” in pattern after blocking
The pattern stitch is very stretchy, sample is a size medium (7” circumference) sock on a 9” foot.

Yarn:
100g / 420 yards of fingering weight yarn for main portion of sock.
20g / 80 yards of fingering weight yarn for contrasting toes.
Sample worked from Madelinetosh Twist Light (75% merino wool / 25% nylon) in Crewneck for the main color and Glazed Pecan for contrasting toes.

Notions:
Stitch Marker, Tapestry Needle (for weaving in ends).
