o Worsted Weight (4) (I used “I Love this Yarn” by Hobby Lobby)
o Approx 165 yards for Adult
• Hook: US H (5.0 mm) You may need to size up on the hook for the CXP stitches to obtain gauge. If so, work the brim with the smaller hook. For a looser fitting beanie, the gauge on the CXP stitch can be bigger than the gauge listed below.
• Notions: Stitch marker, scissors, darning needle

Gauge:
• 3 CXP=1 3/4” across
• 2 CXP= 1” tall

Sizing: Sizes shown beginning with Adult. Smaller sizes in (Teen, Child 2-6 yrs, Baby 12 months -24 months, Infant 6-12 months, Infant 0-6 months ) ranging largest to smallest. Be sure to follow the counts shown for the size you wish to make. You can adjust for a custom fit by adding or working fewer rows in the brim section. Just be sure to work a multiple of 2. The count of the CXP will be ½ of the count of the stitches for the brim.
