Construction:
The Croc headband is worked in the round using the magic loop method with circular needles. If you prefer, you may use double-pointed needles of the same size. The headband is knit in one piece, entirely in stockinette stitch, from bottom to top while following the chart provided on page 4. The chart is repeated twice per round, so the croc motif appears twice. Once the charts are complete, the knitting portion is finished. Then, use a crochet hook to add a small border along both the bottom and top edges.

Sizes:
Size 1: For a head circumference of 54-57cm
(Average head size)
Size 2: For a head circumference of 58-61cm
Finished dimensions:
Size 1: 10cmx54cm
Size 2: 10cmx58cm

Gauge:
Post-blocked gauge = 20 stitches x 30 rows= 10cmx10cm.
If you cannot meet the gauge using 4.5mm needles, always size up or down accordingly to meet the correct gauge.
