Crochet Baby Boy Blanket Car Granny Square #230
The cars are not an Applique. All is worked into a square.

This Crochet Baby Blanket is as cute as can be!

Made with Medium Worsted Weight yarn and 5.5 mm I/9 USA - 5 Britain Crochet Hook.
Written step by step in standard American terms. Not for outright beginner but there are very detailed instructions as to how to change yarn color in mid row and how to carry yarn for each and every row. Called Tapestry Crochet, it is a method in which unused yarn is not cut but carried under the stitches. For the more advanced, there is a graph which will make it quick and easy with little reference to the detailed instructions. Blanket can be made wider and longer by adding more squares. Instructions include how to put the squares together, either by working a st around each square or sewing an invisible seam.
