This is a crochet pattern only, not a finished product.

The Deadly nightshade cardigan is a super soft, light, lacy and striped cardigan. It is the first piece in my new collection where I name designs after poisonous plants in hopes that you’ll get a confidence boost while wearing it and feel fierce.

Materials:
- yarn:
Yarn 1: super fine to fine weight cotton (weight 1-2) (choose the yarn weight based on your desired thickness of the cardigan). I used 100 % cotton sequin yarn (200 g/600 m, fingering weight) from Woolstock.dk (brand name “ZLWXL”).
Yarn 2: lace weight mohair (weight 0) (if you prefer a heavier cardigan, you can swap out the mohair for lace weight alpaca) (I used lace weight mohair/silk blend yarn from Hjertegarn).

• Crochet hook: 4 mm larger than the (largest) size listed on the cotton yarn label. My yarn label recommended size 1.75-2.5 mm, and I used size 6.5. If you don’t want your cardigan to be as lacy as mine, go for 3-3.5 mm larger than the listed size.
• Yarn needle: you will need the needle to sew the sleeves and the body panel and I help you through the process.
• Other materials: scissors and stitch markers (optional).
