Crochet Elote (Mexican Street Corn)
Written and chart versions for colorwork, as well as StitchFiddle links.
This original pattern describes how to crochet elote, or Mexican Street Corn. It uses a 2mm and 3.75mm crochet hook (though both can be substituted depending on the size yarn you like to use), fingering weight brown yarn, worsted weight yellow and white yarns, single crochet in the round, and the puff stitch.
You get TWO patterns. One pattern uses puff stitch, and the other only uses single crochet.
Suitable for intermediate crocheters and beginners--maybe not a great first project, but a very fun third or fourth project ;)
Have fun with the pattern and absolutely contact me if you have any questions!
