This pattern is written in UK crochet terms.

You have the choice of two patterns to make here. For beginners I would suggest making the crochet Medallion necklace first and then when you have the hang of that, then go for the beaded version!

Skills you need to have

double crochet
chain
slip stitch.

I do use a magic circle to begin and have added some photos to help with the completion of this.

Once you have mastered this pattern you could adapt it, making it bigger, smaller, adding more beads, making it into a bracelet, and what ever else you can think up!
