Materials:
• Hook Size F/3.75 mm.
• Yarn any colors of your choice. (I used and Gray, Darker Gray, Green, and White, some black)
• 2 buttons 1 in. diameter, (or more buttons for details)
• Needle and thread (I used spider wire for strength)
• Tapestry needle
• Elastic about 14-15 in. long stitched together into a loop (Optional - Skip directions for this if you want)
• Polyfill or stuffing

Abbreviations:
Bl – back loop
Ch – chain
Dc – double crochet
Sc – single crochet
Inc – increase
Dec – decrease
Rep – Repeat
Rnd or rnds – round or rounds
St or sts – stitch or stitches
PU – Pick Up
DR – Drop
Sl st – slip stitch

(Most of this pattern will be made in separate pieces, and then stitched together later. This will make the squarish shape of the head and body. I created this robot for my one-year old nephew, so I stayed away from using buttons on the outside (choke hazard). But you can use whatever you wish for details. I also made 2 different faces. One that looks more robotic and one that looks nicer. The way this is constructed, I made it so the head swivels, the arms stretch, and the legs bend. Somewhat of an interactive toy. I added tubes that go from the back to the head and body which is optional. The great thing about this is you can be as creative as you want.)
