The Venus bag is unique, sparkly and cute.

The pattern is made-to-measure meaning that you’ll make the bag according to your desired size. However, you don’t have to make a gauge swatch or take measurements beforehand as you can compare the panels to your body as you go.

Right after purchasing, you will receive two downloadable PDFs: the crochet pattern and a lookbook. The lookbook has photos of all the Venus pieces but you can use the search function to find the piece you want to see.

I can finish one bag in a few hours.

This pattern uses US terminology and the metric system.

Materials:

• I used fingering weight cotton yarn (100 %, 200g/600m) from Woolstock (Danish store). The brand name is “ZLWXL”. I used approx. 150 g for the bag. I made mine quadruple stranded. I recommend using 100 % cotton, but you can use any yarn weight and fiber you’d like.
• 2 different crochet hook sizes. The hook size(s) depend(s) on what yarn weight and fiber you use and what look you’re going for. I help you pick the size(s) in the pattern. I used size 4,5 mm for the body of the bag and 12 mm for the handle.
• Scissors
• Stitch markers
• Measuring tape
• Beads (optional)
