Only basic crocheting skills are required (if you are a complete beginner you can find plenty of video tutorials for all of the required stitches online). The main stitch used throughout the pattern is a US single crochet stitch (UK double crochet).

This pattern is designed for chunky chenille yarn (sometimes called velvet, plush or blanket yarn), to create an extra soft and cuddly toy, but it will work just as well with any other yarn weight/material. I used chunky chenille (no more than 100g of each colour) and a 4mm hook to create a 40cm tall toy. You can change the toy size with different yarn weights and hook sizes.

You will need:
• Yarn in colours of choice (specifics included in pattern)
• Crochet hook
• High-loft polyester stuffing
• Safety eyes (optional)
• Yarn/tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Round-headed pins (recommended to help with positioning parts before sewing)
