This is an new idea formed from the original Wingspan Crochet Shawl

Additional Crochet Swirl Cowl has now been added. You will receive both patterns with this purchase.

For the Wingspan -You will need, 3.5mm hook and I used one ball of Admiral R Druck sock yarn (420m)
This is a very easy pattern once you get into the swing of things, and it builds really quickly. It took me approx. 5hrs to make. It uses the same principles as the original Crochet Wingspan
It measures 51 inch on the neck edge and 5 inch deep

For the Cowl -You will need, 3.5mm hook, and approx. 315m of Katia Ole/Togo yarn
This is a very pattern once you get going and you can make it as long as you wish. You can also make it into a scarf.
The inside and outside of the cowl are worked together, though this is not a true infinity, you will join the beginning to the end in the last row of the pattern.

I have used American terminology throughout and you will need to know the following stitches and techniques:
Exsc – extended chain stitch
Ch – chain
Sc – single crochet
Slst – slip stitch
Scx2 = work 2 sc in same stitch = increase of one stitch
Dc – double crochet
Dcx2 – work 2 double crochet in same stitch = increase of one stitch
Dc2tog – double crochet 2 stitches in the same stitch = increase of one stitch
Sc3tog – crochet 3 stitches together
