This cute tippet was fashioned after a tippet that was featured in Godey’s Magazine in 1864. It is a rather unique scarf, and is nice for young children as you don’t have to worry about it slipping off. But, it’s great for adults too!

It is worked in the afghan stitch, in two separate pieces that are seamed together in the center of the back. It then has a simple single crochet and chain stitch border, and is decorated with two tassels and buttons.

Happy crocheting
