When searching for patterns online I found a lot of knitted balaclavas, but not much in the way of crocheted ones, so I decided to make my own pattern.

The pattern is free, but please do not rewrite it and sell it as your own.

  • The neck is split to make it more comfortable to wear.
  • The top is made so it can be pulled down as they are normally worn, or left slightly up and the top flattened to look like a flat topped hat.
  • I may be adding a brim in the future.

Have fun!
