This crochet pattern (written in UK terms) is to make a Bay Campervan Shoulder Bag approximately 30cm/12″ square. I made the original in Wendy Serenity Super Chunky yarn (5 x 100g balls, 2 Chalk, 1 Jet and 2 x Marmalade – each ball has approximately 80 metres of yarn so make sure you have enough metres if you use an alternative brand). This is crocheted to a tension of 11 sts and 12 rows to 10cm/4 inches on a 6mm hook.
To add details such as the lights and indicators you’ll need oddments of Double Knitting yarn in red , orange, cream and grey and a 4mm crochet hook.
I didn’t use a fastener but if you wanted to make your bag extra secure you could either use a magnetic catch or a zip – I’ll leave that up to you. I also found that the crocheted fabric was dense enough not to need a lining but again if you want to add one that is up to you!
