A crocheted paper chain out of machine washable merino in a variety of colours. This looks amazing draped on a wall, or a tree (for a birthday party maybe?) or on any surface that needs decorating in a fun way. It’s also a great way to experiment. You could easily make it a stitch sampler - bobbles on one, basketweave on the next etc.

Experiment with the size you prefer, I tend to have quite a tight tension.
