The Crocus Cocoon Shrug is a lovely lightweight layer for mild spring days. Featuring a contrasting strip of crocus-inspired crochet lace up the back, this shrug lends a delicate and elegant touch to any outfit, whether that’s a little black dress or a tank top and leggings.

This shrug is worked in one piece, with just a little seaming to create the armholes. It starts with the lace strip, and then the main body is worked sideways outward from there. Little eyelets adorn the edge of the main body.

Level: Intermediate. This design uses filet crochet, but otherwise is fairly simple. Blocking is a must for the lace.

Sizing: This pattern is graded for three sizes covering bust measurements 30-62”. Sample shows Size 1 on a 40” bust.

Yardage: approx. 120 (145, 180) yd CA (lavender) and 950 (1220, 1550) yd CB (cream) for Sizes 1 (2, 3).
