Introduction
Crocus Cowl is a small and airy cowl that is perfectly suited for a mild vinter or spring. With two color brioche the possibilities for color play are endless.

Like the crocus flower popping up through the soil in early spring, the brioche buds appear in the knitted fabric. The pattern is easy to create but looks impressive. There’s enough variation to keep you interested but also plenty of straight forward and meditative two color brioche. Lovely tv knitting for chilly nights.

Sizing
The pattern is written for adult sizing but includes easy instructions for adjusting to your liking. The finished measurements are around 9 x 9 inches but it’s incredibly elastic. If you find that the cowl becomes more slouchy and open with use you can easily pull it back into shape.

Gauge
22 stitches per 10 cm / 4 inches in two color brioche. Remember to count both the knit purl rows when counting for gauge. Gauge in brioche can be tricky because of the elasticity. Just make sure that the fabric looks nice and not too loose.
