An estonian inspired lace shawl, knit from the back of neck outward, started off a garter tab.

Excerpt:

“Other techniques used in this shawl are cabling, directional decreases, double/triple yarn overs and increases, and crochet cast on, making this a shawl better suited for intermediate to advanced lace knitters. It would also be helpful to know how to cable without a cable needle.”

This shawl is only available charted, and the largest size has not yet been fully test knit. If you discover errata while knitting please inform me as soon as possible, via PM.

Here you can find the KAL for Crocus/Krokus, where I can more easily provide ‘tech support’ for this shawl.

Unfortunately, Nyansera’s Pampas has been discontinued, but will be replaced by a Bijou blend in the same weight and yardage as Pampas.

The pattern is currently being translated into the following languages:
Deutsch, Nederlands, Français, Svensk, Dansk

These versions will be made available as the volunteer translators finish.

For those of you thinking you would like to substitute beads for nupps, or would like to bead nupps in certain sections of the shawl, here is a link to a post in the KAL which has nupp counts and information about estimating the meterage taken up by nupps in each section. (Nupp counts by section are now included in the pattern, as well.)

Huge thanks to my test knitters Enugu and Lismete, and my ever-enabling knitbuddy Nyansera
