Here are some quick pattern note differences for the crochet thread version if you want to get a head start.

US 1 using crochet 10 thread

CO 10 sts. The patterning will follow the same basic instructions: continue with a two stitch seed st border, but altering from the original to a 6 st center section.

Then on Row 3, drop yarn after fifth stitch. When Casting on for the two crossbars, CO 10 sts each side. You’ll have 30 sts on the needles at this point.

Knit two rows seed stitch like the original, then 7 (I believe) rows of st st, then two more rows of seed st, then BO. BO until you get to the first center stitch (follow sts down from last seed st bump to. Knit to the end of the row. BO the other side until you get to where only the 10 center sts remain on the needles. Follow the pattern again, keep in the two st seed st border for each side and 6 center sts.
