There are so many options to make this vest your own! Create it with ties in front or a button band for funky/playful buttons. Cross-stitch your own personal design on the back, fronts, sides to make it something you’ll love to wear. And when you wear it, you can wear it on its own as a top or layer it on top of a button-up shirt, a fun summer dress, or a simple t-shirt. I can’t wait to see how you make this pattern your own!

This project is made from the bottom up in one piece, then each front is worked on its own, followed by the back, and it is seamed at the shoulders. Two rounds of single crochet line the armholes as well as 2 rounds of single crochet around the vest if creating the version that ties in front, or four rounds of single crochet border for a button closure.
