This blanket consists of 12 rows in seed stitch for the top and bottom borders and an 8 seed stitch border on each side. The body of the blanket is 6 repeats of the 20 stitch design between the border stitches. The length of the blanket is determined by the number of repeats of the design. It is suggested to work 9 or 10 repeats, top to bottom, depending on the amount of yarn you have. End final design section with row either 10 or 20. I used 5 skeins of the Cascade yarn.

To make sure you have enough yarn for top border, determine the number of rows the first skein of yarn uses to use as a guide for how to reserve for the top border.
