This pattern is for two variations of a crochet crossbody bag. The pattern uses readily available Lily Sugar n Cream cotton yarn but another worsted weight yarn can be substituted. It is an easy pattern that works up quickly and is suitable for an intermediate crocheter or an adventurous beginner.

The bag is worked in a continuous spiral so there is no unsightly joining line. It is about 6 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches long but it is easy to change the size to make its larger or smaller. The strap is about 45 inches long.

A crossbody bag is nice when you want free hands and don’t want to carry around a big purse. You can carry your phone, a credit card case, compact, etc. It closes with a strong snap.

Directions for lining it in felt are included though lining is optional. It does prevent stretching.

You may sell bags you make but please don’t sell the pattern or share it except by a link to this listing
