Top-down socks with a short row heel for any princess who needs to keep her feet warm while spending so much time getting to and from that secret place deep beneath her castle!

This top down sock comes in multiple sizes, and with instructional techniques and photos in the pattern. There are a number of suggestions in places where sizing can be adjusted either in length or circumference but sizing can also be adjusted a small amount through choice of yarn and needles.

There are also instructions for making the short row heel deeper providing a lovely fit for those with high insteps.

One skein of sock yarn should be enough for the socks (the extra large model used less than 100gm). Gauge on lace socks is very individual. Do make a gauge swatch on chart 3 in order to check your lace!
