This is a relatively easy pattern to crochet. It utilizes the Crossover Stitch, which is my term for the half-double crochet that creates an X pattern. It creates a lovely woven and cabled look and lays beautifully on a coffee table or smaller dining room table. You can also easily adjust the size to fit your needs.
