crow and roses blanket
Yarn used:
Colour A: black 2300 meters, 4 ply. This should be enough for pattern and standard envelope border. (I have used 2000 m for the pattern and 300 m for the border)
Colour B: oleander/ thistle/ aubergine/ royal/ denim/ dove blue/ light petrol / petrol II/ emerald/ bottle green
- almost 2200 meters, 4ply
The weight of yarn I used is fingering yarn (size 3). If you use different kind, please be advised your project will be different in size. I would highly recommend doing a little gauge test to see much yarn you will need for your project.
This blanket is made using overlay mosaic technique - it’s always worked right side facing you and we’ll be cutting yarn after every row. Don’t worry about loose ends, they’ll be hidden in the border later.
My finished blanket is measuring 160 x 120 cm.
Row count - 253 sts wide by 331 rows high. Pattern has a written tutorial on how the technique works, HOWEVER THERE IS NO WRITTEN INSTRUCTION FOR THE PATTERN ITSELF. CHART ONLY.
