Crown Jewel is knit in the round from the brim up. The pattern lends itself wonderfully to yarns with long color blocks, but solids and variegates work too.

Crown Jewel is a wonderful hat for anyone wanting to learn entrelac. For experienced entrelac knitters, this hat will be a breeze.

Yellow poncho featured is Sweet Tart.
