The Crownshy Socks are a cuff down sock pattern, which features heel flap and gusset, as well as a fun twisted stitch detail running up the outer side of the foot. The pattern is friendly for beginner sock knitters, and is a fun design to try for a first sock!

They were inspired by Becky Chamber’s Monk and Robot series. I wanted a pattern that reminded me of trees, and felt like a cozy, autumnal sock, but with a little bit of luxury with the detailing. A sock that would feel right at home in Sibling Dex’s little cart.
