THE CRYSTAL HAT

Crochet yourself this fashionable hat with its pointy top, holding together one strand of tweed yarn with one strand of mohair silk.
Using a smaller hook than recommended for the tweed yarn creates this solid appearance.
This pattern is an immediate beginner friendly pattern as it uses only a magic ring, single crochet stitches, increases and is worked in spirals.

If your head circumferrence is smaller, I suggest using a smaller hook size

WHAT YOU NEED:
• a size 3.0mm crochet hook or a hook to get gauge
• 145g of Donegal Tweed + 50 g = 105 m in color 16 (yellow) / 70 (black) / 73 (blue)
• 40g of Mohair Luxe 25 g = 175 m by LANG YARNS in color 213 (yellow) / 4 (black) / 20 (blue)
• scissors
• a tapestry needle
• 13 removable stitch markers (1 borm (= beginning of round marker), 6 markers in one color, 6 markers in another color)
• optional: a row counter
