The hat in the picture was done with Painted Desert yarn but any light weight sock yarn will do. Expect to use 200 grams and quite possibly more if you want it longer.

This was done on an Erlbacher Bumblebee with a 90/90 cylinder and ribber. You can adjust accordingly for different cylinder/ribber combinations.
