CSM Shortie Sock

This sock was made on a circular sock machine (Erlbacher Gearhart Speedster) using a 60 cylinder.

Cast on all needles with project yarn.

With the heel spring on through the entire sock, knit 20 rows for the hem. Hang the hem.

Knit 5 more rows, then set up for a deep heel. A deep heel is like a regular heel, except I add a few more needles on either side of the cylinder. So instead of taking 30 needles out of work for the heel, I take out of work 26 needles and continue to make the heel any method preferred.

For my size 10 foot, I knit 65 rows, then finish with the toe. My gauge is about 10 sts per inch with my hand dyed yarn. I used a 50 gram ball and the finished socks weighed 42 grams.

Happy Cranking!!!
