Cube dinosaurs are known for their ferocious ROAR.

The dinosaur is worked in the round and uses the following crochet techniques:

  • single crochet (increasing and decreasing)
  • back post single crochet (decreasing)
  • half double crochet
  • double crochet
  • bobbles
  • amigurumi/plushie construction

The dinosaur has a few tricky bits, and I would recommend the pattern for those who already have some experience with basic amigurumi and/or crochet.

The pattern can be worked in any yarn (with the appropriate hook size). If crocheted in the suggested yarn weight your finished dinosaur will…

…be approximately 5”/12cm tall and 8”/21cm long
…need 130yds for the body, 20yds for the spikes, and 20yds for the eyes and claws (as well as a few scraps of black and white(ish) fabric and some embroidery threads to match).
