This pattern is intended for Adventurous Beginners.The pattern is written with the assumption that you know how to work all listed stitches, see list below. This pattern is written using American terms. This pattern is worked in continuous rounds unless otherwise specified. Finished size depends on personal tension, yarn and hook size. For this project I used a 4 weight yarn, 3mm hook, and my finished Dumptruck is approx 8 inches wide and 5 inches tall. You can use any yarn weight and hook you would like; it will just make the finished item bigger or smaller.

MR - Magic Ring
Ch - Chain
Ss - Slip Stitch
St- Stitch
Sc - Single Crochet
Cc - Color Change
Hdc - Half Double Crochet
Inc - Increase (Used for Single Crochet, unless specified)
Dec - Invisible decrease (Used for Single Crochet, unless specified)
BLO - Back Loop Only
FLO - Front Loop Only
Fo - Fasten Off with a Slip Stitch

185 yards of 4 weight yarn for the body of the truck.
80 yards of 4 weight yarn for the dump bin.
Small amounts of gray, back, white, yellow and red 4 weight yarn for the wheels, windshield/windows, headlights and brake lights.
