Este cuello lo he creado basado en el Reto Teje 3 palabras organizado por Beagle Knits y Merino Feroz.

En el reto se sortean tres palabras en tres categorías y con esas palabras debemos de crear una prenda o accesorio, este año las palabras que salieron del sorteo de febrero fueron: en mitología El Fauno, en meteorología – el Relámpago – en tipo de teñido – Solido

Cuello se teje con agujas circulares en la técnica de colorwork
Es adaptable dado que se basa en repeticiones de 14 puntos.

HILADO
Necesitaras dos madejas del grosor Fingering, aproximadamente 150mts de un color y 80mts de otro, en dos colores contrastantes

MATERIALES
• Aguas circulares del número necesario para obtener la muestra de tensión con cable de 40 cm (yo he usado las de 3,5 mm, pero no te fíes, cada tejedor tiene su tensión).
• Marcadores de candado.
• Aguja lanera.
• Tijeras.

MUESTRA DE TENSIÓN
25 p y 31 vtas en un cuadrado de 10x10 cm en punto jersey ANTES de bloquear.
La muestra de tensión no es crucial, pero puede afectar a las medidas finales y a la cantidad de hilado necesaria

This cowl I have created based on the Challenge Knit 3 Words organized by Beagle Knits and Merino Feroz.
In the challenge three words are drawn in three categories and with those words we must create a Clothing or accessory, this year the words that came out in the draw in February were: in mythology The Faun, in meteorology - the Lightning - in type of dyeing - Solid
As the Faun is considered a god of the meadows and of wild nature, I have been inspired by them created this cowl with leaves in green colours of nature, in white I represent the lightning and it is woven in solid colours of Drops Alpaca, less the one used in colorwork which is the green mix

YARN
You will need two skeins of fingering weight yarn, approximately 150m for one color and 80mts for contrasting color, preferably solid or semisolid colors or with light speckles.

MATERIALS
• Circular needles in the size needed to get gauge with an 40cm cable (I used 3.5 mm, but don’t trust that the same will be right for you, every knitter has their own tension).
• Locking stitch markers.
• Tapestry needle.
• Scissors.

GAUGE
25sts x 31 rows gives 10x10cm in stockinette stitch BEFORE blocking.
Gauge isn’t crucial for this pattern, but it will affect the final measurements and the amount of yarn required.
