Cuevrechief
This cowl is designed for any weight of yarn and will show off thick-and-thin yarn particularly well. It is knit from the point up with landmarks noted so that you know when to move to the next stage.
I knit the first to play with 25G of mawata, also called silk hankies that I’d bought as a birthday present for myself. It was my first time working with fiber in this form and I was not very good at drafting the fiber evenly. I left it unspun and so it was very delicate before being knit. I did not want to bother making a gauge swatch or working any sort of fancy stitches. I had no idea how much yardage I was working with, and wanted to knit until I had used all of it. Unable to find a pattern that would fulfill all of these requirements, I created this.
