Cuileann Cowl
Use discount code COWL10 for 10% off until midnight 05/11/23
Cuileann (coo-lan) is Scottish Gaelic for “Holly”, the tree that springs to mind when you think of winter with its vibrant crimson berries mottled among the spiky leaves. It’s a sight I have yet to get tired of, and wanted to find a way to incorporate into my winter wardrobe.
This piece is knit in the round on circular knitting needles. It comes in one size, but can be adjusted easily should you want a longer or wider cowl! Simply lengthen the ribbed sections or add more chart repeats to create a size that suits you.
Gauge - 20 sts x 28 rows in 4” (10cm)
I used 100% Shetland wool-spun DK from the marvellous Lammermiur Wool - “Grown with love in Scotland”.
MC - 160m / 62g
