This is a chunky sweater to keep you cosy in winter. There is interesting texture on the ribs and collar. The cable section appears on both the back and front; it is straightforward and would be suitable for someone with little experience of cabling.
The sizes given are actual size therefore you can decide on the type of fit you want and choose accordingly. It would also work as a tunic but extra yarn would be needed.
The model was worked in a chunky weight yarn mix with wool, alpaca and a little sparkle. Any chunky yarn that works on a 6mm needle would be fine, including variegated.
A quick and enjoyable knit.
