Theses days I desperately needed something cozy and protective at the same time. So I worked 2 yarns together on a smaller needle size then I usual would to create a dense fabric that absolutely did the trick!

The beginner friendly sister of the CUMMERBUND Vneck is the SiMPLE Vneck. If you buy both patterns or bought one previously you’ll get 50% off the second one (no code needed)

CUMMERBUND Vneck is worked seamlessly from the top down. You start working the upper back for the length of the armhole. Then you work the fronts to the V-neck join and then the front to the same length as the back. Join back and front to work the body down to the cummerbund hem. Pick up the sleeve sts from the arm opening to work the sleeves top down in the round.

SIZES
1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9)
Finished bust circumference in cm/inch:
96 (106, 116, 124, 132)(140, 148, 156, 164) /
37.75 (41.75, 45.5, 48.75, 52)(55, 58.25, 61.5, 64,5)“
The garment is intended to be worn with approx. 15-27cm (6-10.5”) of positive ease. The sample shown in size 3 with 27cm (10.5”) of positive ease.

GAUGE:
20 sts x 26 rows =10 cm (4”) square in Stockinette Stitch, after blocking

SUGGESTED NEEDLES:
Main needle: 4 mm (US6) at least 80 cm (32”) circulars and DPNs for the sleeves
2nd main needle: A second circular needle of the same size and length
Tip: To achieve gauge (if you are not a particularly tight knitter) I recommend to use a smaller needle size than you normally would for a worsted weight yarn. It will give you a nice and dense fabric when holding the two yarns together.

SUGGESTED YARN:
Two yarns are held together throughout
7 (8, 8, 9, 9)(10, 11, 12, 12) skeins of DLana 100% Lana Merina Autóctona (100% Merino), 125m (137yds)/50g, color: Gris claro
Or approx. m/yds: 800/875 (880/960, 940/1030, 1020/1115, 1100/1200)(1190/1300, 1290/1410, 1400/1530, 1500/1640,) of a comparable yarn
Held together with
4 (4, 5, 5, 5)(6, 6, 6, 7) skeins of ITO Yarn, Sensai (60% Mohair, 40% Silk), 240m (262yds)/20g, color: Angora
Or approx. m/yds: 840/920 (920/1005, 980/1070, 1060/1160, 1140/1240)(1230/1345, 1330/1455, 1440/1575, 1540/1680,) of a comparable yarn
