I designed this scarflet along with a matching set of fingerless gloves and a knitted gift bag. They are knit from an alpaca/silk blend fingering weight yarn, with a bit of a loose gauge. The idea is that they would be perfect for wearing indoors while having that wonderful cuppa joe first thing on a cold autumn or winter morning.

I added the gift bag because I thought this could be a delightful gift for someone on your list --- the scarflet and fingerless gloves fit perfectly in the knitted gift bag. Because it is a scarflet and not an entire scarf, there is plenty of time to whip the set up as a holiday gift for someone special on your list.
