The second pattern in the e-book Knitting the Beach, Current is a crescent shaped shawl worked in an undulating lace pattern that resembles the current moving through water. The shawl grows quickly with increases worked on the edge of both right and wrong side rows. Three sizes are given in the pattern, with both written and charted instructions, and the shawl can be further adjusted by changing yarn weight or gauge.
