Being large and curvy, I often don’t fit well into ready-made patterns and sizings. I designed this tunic for myself to fit exactly as I wanted. Cables are lovely, and more interesting to work than plain stockinette, but sadly they add more bulk to my already bulky frame. Because of that, the cables are placed as small details on the simple tunic. On the other hand, working the sweater mostly in the round in plain stockinette stitch makes this a quicker knit than plus-sized clothes usually are.

This pattern features a large selection of hip-to-ribcage combinations and instructions for short-row shaping to fit different bust sizes. Additionally, you can choose from 5 different sleeve sizes according to your own upper arm circumference.

The piecework nature of the pattern requires some basic knitting math skills. I would classify the cable details as intermediate in difficulty, and you need to be able to knit from charts and graft cable bands.

Sizing information (sizes are for measurements of finished piece):
Hip circumference 100-150 cm
Ribcage circumference 80-115 cm
Sleeve circumference 40-60 cm
