Almost any yarn you like may be used as MANY gauges are given.

We normally use the kimono shape with pure rectangles but if a slight liberty is taken plus the design shortened, a whole new look is achieved and it is SO easy. 2 lengths and two designs are given. The longer of the two has ribbing and the short one is finished with
worm trim. Multiple gauges are given along with lots of sizes. Both styles use the same chart of stitch counts. Because of the many options, the pattern is written with blanks. Consult the chart to fill those blanks in.
FINISHED SIZES are nominally 32, 34, 36, 38,40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56 bust. Since there is a strip down the front that is missing from the total width, caused by binding off the back neck,
the garment would not actually close to that measurement. It is meant to have an open front. The front of the shorter style is more open than the longer style as its worm trim finish does not add
much width. Finished lengths given are 12” and 20”.
