Make this adorable, pudgy deer! This deer is great for beginners, or anyone who just doesn’t feel like making their own pattern.

This pattern will not teach you how to do amigurumi, or how to sew pieces together, or how to embroider a mouth etc. You need to have a basic knowledge of these things already. :)

This is a written pattern with no charts. The pages all have doodles and helpful notes. See the last photo for a picture of the actual PDF.

The deer, when made with worsted weight yarn and a size 4.00mm hook, will be about 5-6 inches tall with antlers. Different yarns and hook sizes will change the size, so play around a bit if you want it bigger or smaller.

To make this exact deer, you will need:
4mm hook
2.75mm hook (for bird)
Size 6 steel hook (for flowers)
worsted weight yarn in 4 colors (hoove, body, antlers, bird)
small amount of fabric (for ears, tail and tummy)
embroidery thread/floss (for flowers)

optional: safety eyes, buttons, brads, felt, pastels, markers etc

Keep the age of the person who will be receiving this in mind, be sure to use safety eyes for young children, and embroidered eyes for babies!
